About us and website use

This website is operated by New Gas Boilers Dublin, owned and operated by Matt Murphy, providing gas boiler and heating services across Dublin. You may contact us on 086 232 2753 or info@newgasboilers.ie.

The content of this website is provided for general information. While we take care to keep it accurate, it does not constitute professional advice for your specific property or heating system, and prices shown or quoted online are subject to assessment and confirmation.

Enquiries

When you submit an enquiry, we use the information you provide to respond and, where requested, to prepare a quotation. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract for work and does not commit you to anything.

Quotations and estimates

Quotations are prepared based on the information available to us at the time, including any photographs and property details you provide. A quotation may be revised if the actual conditions at your property differ from what was described or shown. Quote-validity period to be confirmed by the business.

Pricing and VAT

Prices are quoted in euro. Any published guide prices are indicative and subject to assessment of your property and heating system. VAT treatment and wording to be confirmed by the business.

Deposits

A deposit may be required to confirm a booking or order materials for your installation. Deposit amount or percentage to be confirmed by the business.

Payment

Payment terms, including when balances fall due and the payment methods we accept, will be set out in your quotation or invoice. Payment deadlines to be confirmed by the business. Where ownership of supplied goods can lawfully be retained until payment is received, we reserve that right.

Bookings and installation scheduling

Installation and service dates are agreed with you in advance. We will do our best to attend on the agreed date and time, but scheduling can be affected by factors outside our control (such as supplier delays or emergency call-outs). If we need to change your booking, we will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange.

Property access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property and the work area at the agreed times, and to let us know in advance about anything relevant, such as parking restrictions, pets or known hazards.

Customer-provided information

Quotations and recommendations rely on the accuracy of the information and photographs you give us. If information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, the quoted price, recommended boiler or scope of work may need to change.

Existing heating-system condition

Work is priced on the condition of the heating system as described or assessed. Pre-existing faults, corrosion, non-compliant existing installation work or hidden defects may require additional work, which we will discuss with you before proceeding.

Unforeseen and additional work

If unforeseen issues are discovered during the work (for example damaged pipework or wiring concealed in walls or floors), we will explain the issue and any additional cost, and obtain your agreement before carrying out additional chargeable work.

Parts and materials

We supply quality parts and materials appropriate to the work. Manufacturer warranties apply to boilers and many parts; the specific warranty for your boiler will be confirmed with your quotation. Warranty periods to be confirmed per product.

Repairs and call-outs

Repair and call-out work is charged at our published or quoted rates. Where a repair visit reveals that further work or parts are needed, we will tell you before proceeding.

Additional labour

Where work extends beyond the agreed scope, additional labour is charged in 20-minute increments at our applicable labour rate.

Warranties and guarantees

Boilers and many parts carry manufacturer warranties, which are subject to the manufacturer's terms (for example, annual servicing requirements). Details of our own workmanship guarantee will be confirmed with your quotation. Workmanship guarantee period to be confirmed by the business.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please let us know as early as possible. Cancellation notice periods and any charges to be confirmed by the business.

Finance

Where finance options are available, they are provided by third-party finance providers and are subject to their own terms, eligibility checks and approval. Finance provider and terms to be confirmed.

Complaints

If something goes wrong, we want to put it right. Contact us on 086 232 2753 or info@newgasboilers.ie and we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
